French President Emmanuel Macron, during a meeting with military chiefs in Paris, called for the development of security guarantees for Ukraine after the "end of the war", according to Le Figaro.

Macron urged military leaders from around thirty countries to begin drafting a "plan for reliable security guarantees" for Ukraine in case a peace agreement is reached with Russia.

He emphasized that "with the acceleration of peace talks," there is a need to "move from concept to plan" to establish reliable security guarantees, paving the way for a stable and lasting peace in Ukraine

The participants agreed that these security guarantees "cannot be separated from NATO and its capabilities."

Earlier it was reported that French President Emanuel Macron opposed the “too fragile” ceasefire in Ukraine. He emphasized that the path to peace cannot go through the withdrawal of support for Ukraine.

The media reported that Europe is developing a plan to send soldiers to Ukraine. According to recent data, European countries are ready to send up to 30,000 troops for such a mission.

Also, in his speech to his fellow citizens, Macron said that he had decided to start a discussion on the use of French nuclear weapons to protect the entire European Union.
