Loud explosions in the center of occupied Sevastopol, Crimea
Loud sounds resembling explosions or artillery fire were reported in the center of the temporarily occupied Sevastopol on the morning of December 5, according to Crimea.Realities.
According to reports, the sounds, resembling explosions or gunfire from artillery weapons, were heard approximately from the area of the Cossack Bay, where the training ground of the 810th separate marine brigade of the Russian Federation is located.
The Russian authorities and the military have not commented on this situation, and no exercises have been announced at this time.
Explosions in Crimea
After the commencement of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, various cities in the occupied Crimea regularly experience explosions related to drone and missile strikes on occupiers' locations, vehicle depots, and more.
For instance, explosions were reported in the temporarily occupied Kerch overnight on December 5. The occupying authorities closed the Crimean Bridge. Russians on social media also reported sounds of explosions in Feodosia and issues with electricity supply in the Kerch region.
Moreover, Russia claimed a massive drone attack on the temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of November 24. Russian military units, as well as air defense systems, radars, and personnel of the occupiers, were reportedly hit in the city of Dzhankoi.
Russians also assert that two drones attempted to attack an oil depot in the temporarily occupied Feodosia early this morning.
On November 23, explosions and machine gun fire were heard in Novofedorivka, Saki district of Crimea.
Also, on November 21, a series of explosions occurred in Sevastopol. Witnesses reported the first explosion in the city center around 12:15 PM. Despite no air alarm being declared in the city, later, as reported by Crimean Wind, at least five more explosions occurred.
