Russia reports massive drone attack on Crimea
In Russia, there are reports of a massive drone attack on the temporarily occupied Crimea overnight on November 24, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense on Telegram.
It is claimed that Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down 13 drones over the temporarily occupied peninsula.
Russian telegram channels report that supposedly 12 of them failed to overcome the air defense line in the north of Crimea, and one was reportedly shot down in the depth of the peninsula with small arms.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also stated that air defense allegedly downed 3 drones over the territory of the Volgograd region.
Earlier tonight, there were reports of loud explosions in the city of Dzhankoy in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Explosions in Crimea
After the start of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation into Ukraine, there have been regular explosions in various cities of the occupied Crimea, associated with drone and missile strikes on the occupiers' locations, vehicle depots, and so on.
For example, on November 23, explosions and machine gun fire were heard in Novofedorivka, Saksky district of Crimea.
Also, on November 21, a series of explosions occurred in Sevastopol. Witnesses reported the first explosion in the central part of the city around 12:15. After that, another one followed. Despite no air raid alert being announced in the city, later, as reported by Krymskyi Veter at least five more explosions were heard.
