Russia's losses in Ukraine as of August 24: +910 troops and 40 artillery systems

Over the past day, the Russian army has lost approximately 910 soldiers on the front, along with various military equipment, including armored personnel carriers and drones, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to August 24, 2025, are approximately as follows:
- Personnel - approximately 1,076,070 (+910) Russian troops were eliminated;
- Tanks - 11,129;
- Troop-carrying AFVs - 23,167 (+3);
- Artillery systems - 31,898 (+40);
- MLRS - 1,472;
- Anti-aircraft systems - 1,211 (+1);
- Aircraft - 422;
- Helicopters - 340 units;
- UAV operational-tactical level - 53,056 (+121);
- Cruise missiles - 3,598;
- Warships/boats - 28;
- Submarines - 1;
- Vehicles and fuel tanks - 59,593 (+81);
- Special equipment - 3,944.
Over the past day, the Russian army losses totaled 840 personnel.
Ukrainian forces also destroyed five tanks, four armored fighting vehicles, 23 artillery systems, 148 drones, and 86 enemy vehicles.
