Another explosion has been reported in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol on the night of September 25, just hours after Russian occupiers claimed that their air defense systems were activated in the city due to an alleged drone attack, according to the Crimean Wind Telegram channel.

According to local residents, the explosion in Sevastopol was quite powerful and was also heard in other populated areas, including Bahchysarai.

The explosion was heard around 01:45.

Representatives of the occupying administration have not made any comments regarding the incident. Official information about the latest explosion in Sevastopol is currently unavailable.

Explosions in Sevastopol

Prior to this, there were reports of a supposed drone attack late on Sunday evening in Sevastopol. There were also reports online about the operation of air defense systems.

Recently, Sevastopol and other cities in occupied Crimea have been experiencing explosions almost daily.

For example, on September 22, a missile strike was carried out against the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Later, the Office of Strategic Communications of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that Ukrainian military forces were behind the attack. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that as a result of the attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, at least 9 people were killed and 16 were wounded, including Russian generals.

It was also reported that on September 14, explosions occurred in Yevpatoriya, where the S-400 Triumph system, worth $1.2 billion, was destroyed.
