British Defense Secretary John Healey will call for a i50-day push" to supply weapons to Ukraine. At Ramstein, he will emphasize the need to increase military support to force Vladimir Putin to the negotiating table, The Telegraph reports.

Healey will chair a meeting of Kyiv's allies in the Ramstein format.

Support for Ukraine: London's urgent call

Healey will support the initiative of US President Donald Trump, who earlier said he would impose very tough tariffs on Russia if it does not agree to a ceasefire by September 2.

Calling on Western allies for more support, Healey is expected to say: "Alongside this, the US has started the clock on a 50-day deadline for Putin to agree to peace or face crippling economic sanctions."

"As members of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group, we need to step up in turn with a ‘50-day drive’ to arm Ukraine on the battlefield and force Putin to the negotiating table," he will say.

This will be Healey's fourth meeting as chairman of Ramstein and the third with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. Previously, the group was led by the United States, but after Trump came to power, Washington began to curtail its support for Ukraine and European security.

New deliveries and plans: shells, missiles, drones

The UK Ministry of Defense has confirmed that over the past two months, 150 million pounds worth of air defense missiles and artillery shells have been sent to Ukraine. These deliveries are part of a broader commitment to spend £700 million this year on air defense and artillery for Ukraine.

The UK has also sent 50,000 drones over the past six months, and another 20,000 drones will be provided by a coalition of countries led by the UK and Latvia. New deliveries are expected to be announced at Ramstein, Germany, and the UK will jointly purchase air defense missiles worth €170 million from the German budget.
