Lithuanian Foreign Ministry explains why Putin delivers bloody strikes against Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin seeks to demonstrate NATO's predictability by committing war crimes against Ukraine with impunity, states Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis.
According to him, Putin welcomes NATO summit participants by bombing a children's hospital, as if needing an explanation of why Ukraine should receive comprehensive support now and real security guarantees in the future.
The head of Lithuania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that it is time to prove the dictator wrong and provide Ukraine with the best weapons and permission to strike military targets in Russia as deeply as necessary.
"Putin doesn't need to test our response any more. He expects our response will be weak, and he wants the world to see how predictable we are," Landsbergis believes.
