Russian attack on Kyiv: 22 killed in shelling, including two children
As of now, there are reports of 22 fatalities in Kyiv due to a rocket strike by Russian forces, including two children, according to Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv city military administration.
"Due to the rocket strike in the capital, there have been 22 fatalities, including two children," wrote Popko.
He also added that 82 injuries have been reported from the Russian shelling of the city.
Strike on Kyiv
This morning, Russian forces launched missile strikes on Kyiv. Loud explosions were heard in the capital.
It has been reported that one of the missiles hit the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital. Several fatalities and approximately 16 injuries have been confirmed.
According to sources from RBC-Ukraine, a suspicious man has been apprehended at the scene. Law enforcement officers will investigate whether he could be connected to the attack.
