Due to a large-scale combined Russian strike, 14 people have reportedly been killed in Kyiv, the Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reports.

"Preliminarily, there are already 14 dead in Kyiv. The information will be updated," Tkachenko wrote.

According to the Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Ukraine's capital has endured yet another difficult night. Emergency services are currently working at the sites of the strikes.

"Right now, I'm at one of the strike sites. Rescuers, medics, police, volunteers. Everyone is working in close coordination to help and save those in need. Thank you to each and everyone who is here today - those pulling people out from under the rubble, those offering support, those holding on no matter what," Tkachenko stated.

Details of June 17 attack on Kyiv

This night, Russia attacked Kyiv with missiles and drones, sparking fires and damaging multi-story residential buildings.

The aftermath of the nighttime attack was recorded at 12 locations across the Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Podilskyi, and Obolonskyi districts. Among the dead victims in Solomianskyi district was a 62-year-old US citizen.

Due to the Russian strikes, tram and bus routes in Kyiv have been temporarily changed.
