As a result of the overnight attack by Shahed-type combat drones, damage was recorded at 12 different locations across Kyiv. At least 16 people were injured, according to a statement by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.

"Overall, as of now, we are recording the consequences of the attack at 12 locations across Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Podilskyi, and Obolonskyi districts. Twelve people have been reported injured. The information is being clarified," said Tymur Tkachenko.

He noted that emergency crews are working at the affected sites and warned that the threat remains, as new aerial targets are being detected approaching the Ukrainian capital.

Meanwhile, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that the number of injured from the Russian attack has increased.

"As of now, there are 16 injured in the capital. Most of them are in the Solomianskyi district. Two others sought medical help in Darnytskyi and one in Dniprovskyi district. They received assistance," he stated.

Drone attack on Kyiv on June 17

During the night of June 17, Kyiv was once again attacked by Russian forces. Russia launched Shahed-type combat drones toward the Ukrainian capital.

Debris fell in several districts of Kyiv, damaging non-residential buildings, vehicles, and a residential high-rise. Fires broke out.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, had previously reported casualties in Sviatoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts.
