Kyiv's death toll surges again after December 29th shelling
Rescuers continue to discover casualties following the massive missile strike on Kyiv on December 29th, according to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Serhiy Popko.
It is reported that as of 10:30 PM on Monday, January 1st, 29 deceased individuals have been found in the capital.

On Friday, December 29th, Russia initiated the most extensive attack on Ukrainian territory since the invasion began. Within a few hours, the aggressor launched 158 missiles of various types across the country, along with kamikaze drones. Over 30 hostile targets were intercepted in the skies above Kyiv.
The search and rescue operation in the capital has continued for the third day. Initially, three casualties were reported, but the number of deceased individuals sharply rose, reaching 28 people.
On January 1st, Kyiv declared a day of mourning for the victims.
During New Year's night, Russia fired a record number of Shahed drones and 8 missiles at Ukraine.
