Kyiv region strike: Number of injured increases, two rescuers hurt

On the night of June 23, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the Kyiv region. As a result of the attack, damage was reported, and the number of injured has increased, according to the Telegram channel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Emergency services reported that due to the Russian shelling of residential and industrial areas, fires and destruction occurred. One person was killed, and another eight were injured.
“Bila Tserkva and Bucha districts suffered the most. Unfortunately, during the repeated Russian attack, two rescuers were injured,” the statement says.
The State Emergency Service also clarified that a fire broke out in a two-story hotel building in the city of Bila Tserkva, which houses a private hospital.
Rescuers evacuated six critically ill patients from the facility. As of the time of publication, firefighting efforts are ongoing, with the fire covering an area of 1,500 square meters.
“Efforts to extinguish fires in private residential buildings at several locations are also underway. All relevant services are working at the scene. The number of injured is being clarified,” the State Emergency Service concluded.

Recently, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, reported damage in three districts of the region. At that time, only one woman’s death and two injured people who were hospitalized were confirmed.
Additionally, last night, the Russian forces launched a combined attack on Kyiv. The enemy carried out a massive strike with drones and fired missiles twice.
