On the night of May 18, Russian forces attempted to attack Kyiv with drones. Debris was recorded falling in one of the city’s districts, according to the Telegram channel of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

"As of 06:10 Kyiv time, debris from a shot-down enemy drone was recorded falling in the Holosiivskyi district. The roof of a non-residential building was damaged," the statement reads.

The Kyiv City Military Administration clarified that there was no fire or casualties. Specialists are currently working at the scene.

Russian shelling

Explosions were heard in Kyiv last night amid the Russian drone attack. Air defense forces were active in the capital. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned that they had detected many enemy drones.

Additionally, the enemy attempted to attack the Kyiv region. As a result of the attack in the Obukhiv district, a woman was killed. Also injured were a 61-year-old man, a 59-year-old woman, and a 4-year-old child.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration clarified that the attack caused partial destruction of a private house, and windows were damaged in a multi-story residential building.

“There was a fire at a feed mill in the Fastiv district,” added the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
