Kyiv casualties rise after massive Russian attack as rescuers find more bodies

The number of those killed in Kyiv following the overnight attack on the capital on November 14 continues to rise. Rescuers have recovered the body of another victim from the rubble, according to Kyiv City Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko.
Tkachenko reported that the number of those killed as a result of the overnight attack has risen — rescuers discovered the body of a sixth victim. The number of injured has also increased and now stands at 35.
"Rescuers and medical teams continue working at the sites," he said.
Attack on Kyiv
On the night of November 14, Kyiv came under strikes from all types of Russian aerial weapons. The Russian forces used Shahed attack drones, as well as cruise, ballistic, and aeroballistic missiles.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian troops employed 449 aerial attack assets — 19 missiles and 430 drones of various types.
As a result of the Russian strike, drone and debris impacts on residential buildings were recorded in nine districts of the capital, including Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, and Podilskyi.
Debris from the attack also damaged the Embassy of Azerbaijan, with fragments from an Iskander missile striking the diplomatic mission's building.
In addition, sections of Kyiv's heating network were damaged. The city is experiencing disruptions in electricity and water supply.
