Kryvyi Rih death toll from Russian missile strike rises to 20

The number of casualties has risen again in Kryvyi Rih following the Russian missile strike on April 4. One of the injured has died in the hospital, reports Oleksandr Vilkul, head of Kryvyi Rih City Defense Council.
"Unfortunately, the number of victims of the Russian terrorist attack on April 4 has risen to 20 people. A 57-year-old man has died in the hospital from multiple wounds," Vilkul said.
According to him, doctors worked around the clock, doing everything possible, but the man's injuries were incompatible with life.
Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih, April 4
On the evening of Friday, April 4, the Russian army launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. Russian forces used a missile with cluster munitions, which detonates before reaching the ground. This increases the blast radius.
The strike hit a residential area, including a children's playground.
According to the latest reports, 20 people were killed during the strike, including nine children. More than 70 people were injured.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy strongly condemned the Russian shelling, stressing the need to intensify international pressure on Russia.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk stated that the Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih, which resulted in the deaths of nine children, became the deadliest attack on children throughout the war.
Today, April 6, a day of mourning has been declared in Ukraine, and entertainment events have been canceled in the regions.
