Talks between Russia, the US, and Ukraine on resolving the war could take place in Abu Dhabi, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
Asked by journalists about a possible venue for a trilateral meeting, the Kremlin representative confirmed that Abu Dhabi remains an option.
"For now, Abu Dhabi is being discussed," Peskov said.
However, he declined to provide details about preparations for documents or proposals for the next round of talks, which is planned for November.
"You're getting ahead of yourselves. You shouldn't do that," he added.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin told US special envoy Steve Witkoff that he was ready to resume trilateral talks on Ukraine around mid-November.
Putin's aide Yuri Ushakov also confirmed that the next round of discussions could take place in Abu Dhabi in November.
US President Donald Trump previously said that the US and Russia were getting closer to a settlement of the war in Ukraine. According to him, the sides were closer to reaching a settlement than ever before.
According to media reports, the US leader wants Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Russian leader Vladimir Putin to sign a peace agreement at the G20 summit in Miami, Florida, scheduled for December.
Sources say the talks could take place amid pressure on Kyiv.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin has also claimed that the war in Ukraine is nearing its end. Putin's office said the Russian-Ukrainian war was moving toward its conclusion.
