The Russia-Ukraine conflict is currently approaching its conclusion, states Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov to the Vesti news service.
The Kremlin representative expressed this view in response to journalists' questions regarding future prospects and timelines for the end of the war.
"I do not know how close we are, but things are moving in that direction," Ushakov said.
Russian leader Vladimir Putin stated during a meeting with US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff that Moscow was allegedly ready to resume negotiations with Ukraine and Washington.
At the same time, media reports emerged that US leader Donald Trump aims for Zelenskyy and Putin to sign a peace agreement at the G20 summit in Miami, scheduled to take place in Florida in December.
The negotiations themselves may be conducted under pressure on Kyiv.
