Kremlin comments on summit with Trump and Zelenskyy

The possibility of a trilateral summit between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, former U.S. leader Donald Trump, and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin during the Alaska talks was not discussed, according to TASS.
Responding to a question about a potential trilateral summit involving Zelenskyy, Ushakov replied succinctly: "So far, this topic has not been raised."
He also emphasized that once the results of the US–Russia summit are fully assessed, a further decision will be made regarding the organization of a new bilateral meeting between Trump and Putin.
"Right now, the US president said that he will call his colleagues, discuss the outcomes of the current negotiations, and then we will decide what to do next," Ushakov added.
Trump-Putin summit in Alaska
As a reminder, in the early hours of August 16, Trump met with Putin at a military base in Anchorage, Alaska. The main topic of the nearly three-hour talks was Russia’s war against Ukraine.
However, as Trump stated, no agreement on a ceasefire was reached during the meeting in Alaska. According to the former US president, the next steps now depend on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Trump also advised Zelenskyy after the talks to "make a deal" with Russia.
On the eve of the Alaska talks, Trump did not rule out that one outcome could be a quick meeting with both Zelenskyy and Putin.
