Kharkiv death toll climbs once more following Russian missile attack

The death toll from Russia's missile strike on Kharkiv on January 2 has risen to five. Another body fragment has been found, according to the Telegram channel of Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
"Another body fragment has been found at the site of Friday’s explosions. As a result, the number of people killed in Friday’s explosions has increased to five," Terekhov said.
Missile strike on Kharkiv
As a reminder, on January 2, Russians struck the center of Kharkiv with two Iskander ballistic missiles.
Initially, it was reported that the missiles hit a residential high-rise building, causing it to be destroyed.
Later, updated information emerged: a five-story building and part of the entrance of a four-story apartment building were damaged.
The enemy attack resulted in fatalities, including a child. Another 27 people were injured.
Earlier reports said that a search-and-rescue operation is still ongoing at the site of Russia's missile strike in Kharkiv. Up to five more people may remain trapped under the rubble. Three bodies have already been recovered.
