Kadyrov wants to send 84 000 Chechens to war against Ukraine - NRC
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, plans to send 84 000 residents of the republic he controls to the Russian-Ukrainian war. He intends to deploy Chechens to the front not under the framework of mobilization, but supposedly on a volunteer basis, reports the National Resistance Center (NRC).
It is noted that according to Kadyrov's statements, Chechnya has fulfilled all the tasks set by the Kremlin to avoid mobilization.
"That is, this number of terrorists was recruited voluntarily and people should be grateful to him for this," the National Resistance Center points out.
The CNS article also highlights that the Russian political leadership is struggling to manage the situation, as the war initiated by Moscow against Ukraine is dragging on - leading to a shortage of cannon fodder.
"Therefore, the puppet regime will try even harder to use every opportunity to send Chechens and representatives of other national minorities to the front, serving the schizophrenic ideas of Putin and his entourage," the Center stated.
Earlier in October, it became known that Kadyrov proposed sending traffic offenders in Chechnya to the war against Ukraine. He instructed Russian State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov to take this issue under control.
Additionally, according to Kadyrov, a new regiment is being formed in Chechnya, consisting of 2,500 personnel, and the deployment of offenders to the front will be appropriate.
Recently, a drone attacked a special forces university in Chechnya. This occurred on the morning of October 29, and following the drone strike, there was a fire in the building.
Subsequently, satellite images were released that confirmed the attack on Kadyrov's Special Forces University.
