Leader of Chechnya proposes sending traffic violators to war against Ukraine
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has proposed sending residents of the republic to fight in the war against Ukraine. This concerns those who commit administrative offenses, including traffic violations, according to Telegram from Meduza-LIVE and Kadyrov's post.
According to the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, he has instructed State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov to take this issue under control. Kadyrov emphasized that there is a negligible category of people in Chechnya for whom no laws are written. He referred to the youth who, he claims, lead a leisurely and immoral lifestyle. Such individuals allow themselves to park anywhere, drive under the influence of prohibited substances, violate traffic rules, and provoke conflicts.
"From now on, the conversation with them will be brief. If you don’t respect the law - either go to prison for the maximum appropriate term or sign a contract and go to the special military operation zone (to fight against Ukraine - editor's note). There, show your bravery, audacity, and recklessness to the enemy," Kadyrov stated in his post.
He added that a new regiment is being formed in the region. Therefore, he believes that sending offenders to the front will be appropriate, and there will be enough places for everyone.
"Instead of holding them administratively accountable, it’s more sensible to send offenders to serve in the ranks of the Russian military. Given that we are forming a new regiment with a strength of 2,500, this will be appropriate. There will be room for everyone," Kadyrov declared.
