Israel launches major airstrike on Yemen

The Israeli Air Force attacked Yemen. The strike targeted the port city of Hodeidah, Walla reports.
An unnamed senior Israeli official said the targets included facilities in the Hodeidah port and a major Houthi factory. Israel used dozens of aircraft for the operation. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir were reportedly present in the command center during the strike.
A senior US official also told Walla the strike was carried out in coordination with the United States.
The Houthis claimed that six airstrikes hit the Hodeidah port, while Arab media reported that Israel struck nine targets using at least 30 aircraft.
Also, according to Arab media, Israel used a total of 48 missiles. The targets included concrete plants and a cement plant.
Houthis strike
Yesterday, on May 4, Yemeni Houthis launched a ballistic missile at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport. The missile exploded within the airport perimeter.
It was known that six people were injured in the attack. These are two men aged 50 and 64, as well as four women aged 22, 34, 38 and 54.
Israeli air defense tried to intercept the enemy missile, but failed.
