Iran offers excuse for striking Israel despite ceasefire deal

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that it launched missiles at Israel "minutes before" the ceasefire came into effect, informs Sky News.
According to the IRGC, the final wave of attacks was allegedly launched just a few minutes before the ceasefire began.
In a statement published by the semi-official news agency Tasnim, the IRGC added that a total of 14 missiles were launched in the morning, targeting Israeli military centers.
Israel–Iran war
On June 13, Israel launched a military operation against Iran. As part of the campaign, the Israeli Air Force struck Iranian military and nuclear facilities. The attack killed several high-ranking officers and specialists involved in Tehran's nuclear program. Since then, Israel and Iran have been exchanging daily strikes.
On June 22, the United States joined the conflict — American forces targeted Iranian nuclear sites using bunker-busting bombs. In response, Iran attacked the US Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
On June 24, Donald Trump announced the beginning of a ceasefire. However, shortly afterward, Israel reported new Iranian missile attacks.
