The US has joined Israel’s operation against Iran’s nuclear and military sites, striking three targets, states US President Donald Trump.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space,” he stated.

According to Trump, all bombs were dropped on the Fordow facility, and the planes are safely returning to base.

“Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!,” he added.

Meanwhile, a US official told Reuters that B-2 bombers took part in the US strike on Iran.

The report states that the B-2 can be equipped to carry the 30,000-pound GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator, which is designed to destroy deeply buried targets. It adds that experts believe this weapon could be used to strike Iran’s nuclear program, including Fordow.

US negotiations with Iran

During the operation that began last week, Israel launched a series of missile strikes on Iran’s nuclear and military sites amid Tehran’s refusal to sign a nuclear deal with the US.

On June 19, it became known that Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held several phone conversations about a diplomatic resolution to the conflict between Iran and Israel.

The US president gave Tehran up to two weeks to resume talks. The White House said that during this time, he would decide whether Washington would join Israel’s operation.

Meanwhile, Iran declared it has no intention of returning to diplomacy while Israel continues bombing its military and nuclear sites.

US President Donald Trump responded that he wasn’t sure he could even stop Israeli strikes on Iran, even if he wanted to, to meet Tehran’s demands.
