Inside Ukraine's secret Flamingo missile system with over 3,000 km range

Photos of a Ukrainian missile called Flamingo have appeared online. Reports say it is already in serial production, according to Ukrainian photojournalist Efrem Lukatsky.
"Ukrainian-made over 3,000 km range Flamingo missiles, which were launched into serial production," he wrote, attaching the photos.

Online sources note that the Flamingo missile closely resembles the FP-5 cruise missile, introduced in early 2025 by Milanion Group from the UAE. The missile was first shown at the IDEX-2025 exhibition. Its main specifications are:
- Warhead: 1,000 kg;
- Range: up to 3,000 km;
- Launch weight: 6 tons;
- Fixed-wing span: 6 meters;
- Speed: up to 900 km/h;
- Guidance system: combined – satellite-resistant (resistant to electronic warfare) and inertial.

Development of ballistic missiles in Ukraine
In May, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy ordered efforts to speed up the development of ballistic missiles. Mykhailo Podolyak, Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said the missile's range could reach up to 700 kilometers.
At the same time, Advisor to the President of Ukraine on Strategic Issues Oleksandr Kamyshyn recently stated that Ukrainian ballistic missiles are already in serial production.
