'I don't like the bombing': Trump announces talks with Russia to end war

During a conversation with journalists aboard Air Force One, White House Chief Donald Trump stated that the United States continues negotiations with the Russian Federation regarding the cessation of the war. Washington disapproves of the ongoing "bombing."
"We are talking with Russia. We'd like them to stop. I don't like the bombings. The bombing goes on and on. Every week, thousands of young people are being killed. And it's a horrible thing that should have never started, it would have never started if I were president," Trump stated
US participation in peace negotiations
Washington is currently in contact with Ukraine and Russia to help both countries end the full-scale war. In recent months, a series of separate meetings between the American side and representatives of Ukraine and Russia have taken place in Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
In the case of Kyiv, to exert pressure, Washington suspended military assistance and intelligence sharing. However, only threats have been made against Russia so far.
Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Congress has already begun working on a bill regarding sanctions against Russia, prompting Moscow to decide whether it is ready to end the full-scale war.
