Hidden castles of Ukraine worth discovering now

Not all castles in Ukraine have made it into tourist guidebooks. Some still preserve a quiet atmosphere, a sense of mystery, and a truly historic aura. Ukraine is home to some of the most beautiful lesser-known castles, still untouched by crowds — which makes now the perfect time to visit them.
So, which Ukrainian castles remain hidden from tourists' eyes?
Skalat Castle, Ternopil region
A small yet authentic 17th-century castle with four stone towers. Despite undergoing restoration, it still lacks tourist infrastructure.
Here, you can peacefully stroll through the historic courtyard and imagine yourself defending an ancient outpost.
