Purple landscapes, a gentle fragrance in the air, and atmospheric photos against blooming lavender fields can be found not only in France. Ukraine has plenty of locations where lavender blooms just as beautifully as in Provence, and the season is now in full swing. Here are the top lavender blooming locations you should visit in time.

Lavender Hill, Turichky village (Perechyn) in Zakarpattia

Arguably, the most atmospheric lavender field in Ukraine. Nestled among the Carpathian hills, this place offers more than just photos but a true immersion in nature.

The 2025 season began on June 7 and lasts until the end of July. The program includes photo zones, tastings, souvenirs, and relaxation areas. Price: $5 ($2.5 for pensioners).

Dobropark (Motyzhyn village) in the Kyiv region

It is the most famous lavender location near Kyiv with 60,000 bushes. Easy to get to from the capital, open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Kyiv time, with numerous photo zones, cafes, and lounge areas. The season runs until the end of July. Price: $5 on weekdays, up to $8.5 on weekends.

Fairy-tale fields (Strilky village, Sambir district) in the Lviv region

Near Lviv lies a field with lavender, hydrangeas, roses, and mint. You'll find not just photo ops here, but also events, festivals, and themed picnics. The season runs from June to August. Price: $5, with photo zones included.

Lutsk Provence (Lysche village, near Lutsk) in the Volyn region

A cozy lavender location amidst rural scenery. Price: $4, open daily until July 25. You can rent photo zones or props. A few hundred bushes make it ideal for family visits or photos without crowds.

Lavender Family (Pishchane village) and Sas Lavender (Bilotserkivtsi village) in the Poltava region

Poltava region is one of the centers of lavender tourism in Ukraine, with several large private fields.

Some are open for free, while others charge a symbolic fee. The season runs from June 21 to around July 20. You'll find bouquets, workshops, and tastings.

Vasylivka village, Bolhrad district in the Odesa region

One of the largest fields in Ukraine, covering up to 55 hectares. Admission is free or costs a symbolic amount. The lavender is grown on an industrial scale here, and the vastness is impressive. It's a remote but highly photogenic location.

Mahala village in Bukovyna

Bukovyna's version of lavender relaxation. The season runs until the end of July, with entry around $4. Photo zones are available, some of which are free. On weekdays, you can visit without crowds; on weekends, the site fills up quickly.
