A helicopter and almost 500 occupiers: Russian losses in the war in a day
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Wednesday morning, July 26, amounted to 460 occupiers, with a total of 243,680 military personnel lost since the invasion began. Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed one helicopter and 22 artillery systems, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to July 26, 2023, are approximately as follows:
- Personnel: around 243,680 (+460) individuals were eliminated.

- Artillery systems: 4,727 (+22) units.

Frontline situation
According to the General Staff, there were 26 armed clashes on the fronts in Ukraine in the past 24 hours. The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed an enemy Ka-52 helicopter, 5 Shahed-136 drones, and 2 tactical reconnaissance drones.
Furthermore, based on the Institute for the Study of War's data, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continued counteroffensive actions on at least three fronts over the last day and made advancements. Particularly, they achieved tactically significant successes in the area of Bakhmut. These operations have significantly depleted the strength of the Russian occupiers.
