Harris plans to meet with Zelenskyy in Washington next week - Bloomberg
Bloomberg reports that US Vice President Kamala Harris plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy next week in Washington.
A source with knowledge of the matter told the US media about the plans of the US official and presidential candidate for the upcoming elections to meet with Zelenskyy.
During his visit to the United States, Zelenskyy is going to present a plan for Ukraine's victory to both current US leader Joe Biden and presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
"He’s due to present the plan to Biden when they meet on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly later this month. He is also keen to share the plans with Harris and Trump," Bloomberg says.
During his visit to the United States, the Ukrainian President is expected to insist on Ukraine's membership in NATO and the European Union.
In addition, Bloomberg writes, Zelenskyy is likely to sign economic and security agreements during his visit to the United States and raise the issue of supplying more advanced weapons as part of Ukraine's victory plan.
The upcoming meeting between Zelenskyy and Harris was previously reported by CNN.
