Global Peace Summit in Switzerland: MFA announces dates

The global peace summit at the level of heads of state will be held in Switzerland by the summer of this year at the request of Ukraine, reports Reuters.
"At Ukraine's request, we intend to organize by the summer," Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis told the U.N. General Assembly.
He added that he invites all countries to work towards achieving a common goal - peace in Ukraine and ending the war with Russia.
Global Peace Summit
Ukraine has already held several meetings regarding the peace formula at the level of national security advisors of the heads of state. Dozens of countries took part.
Already this year, Ukraine plans to hold a Global Peace Summit with the participation of country leaders.
With the help of such meetings, our country wants to attract as many countries as possible to support the peace formula, including the states of the Global South.
Even last month, the President's Office said that Ukraine had invited the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, to the Global Peace Summit.
