Minister of the Armed Forces of France Sébastien Lecornu says France is ready to replace the United States in providing intelligence to Ukraine, reports france24.

“Our intelligence is sovereign... with our own capacities. We are passing this on to the Ukrainians,” Lecornu said.

US paused intelligence sharing with Ukraine

Yesterday, March 5, the media reported that Washington had suspended intelligence sharing with Ukraine for strikes on Russian territory. They noted that the United States allegedly continues to transmit data for strikes on Russian positions in the occupied territories. But later turned out that it was a complete cessation of the exchange.

The Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) eventually confirmed that Washington had suspended arms supplies and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

On February 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the White House, where a tense discussion arose between him, US President Donald Trump, and Vice President JD Vance. After that, the US side decided to suspend support for Ukraine.

On March 4, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine wanted to start negotiations as soon as possible to achieve a stable peace. Trump, in turn, suggested that Moscow was also supposedly ready to end hostilities.
