A bus belonging to a Ukrainian company overturned on the DN22 highway near the Romanian city of Constanța. As a result of the accident, eight Ukrainians were injured, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reports in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.

According to the Ministry, citing information from the consular department of the Embassy of Ukraine in Romania, the bus was operating on the Odesa-Bucharest route.

At the time of the traffic accident, there were 55 Ukrainian citizens on board, including:

  • 8 men;
  • 37 women;
  • 9 children.

Due to the accident, four people sustained injuries. Eight injured passengers received medical assistance on the spot. The passengers declined hospitalization.

The cause of the accident is currently being determined.

RBC-Ukraine previously reported on a serious traffic accident involving Ukrainians that occurred recently in Poland near Warsaw.

Another accident involving Ukrainians took place in late 2024 in Egypt, where more than 40 people were injured.
