Two small landing ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation were destroyed in Crimea. They were crucial for the occupiers as carriers of anti-aircraft missile systems, according to a representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andrii Yusov.

"It was an extremely successful operation. We are talking not only about two landing boats that can be confidently declared destroyed, which are modern enough for the Russian fleet. In addition to the destroyed armored personnel carrier and losses among the personnel, these are also carriers of anti-aircraft missile systems that were supposed to cover other ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation," said Yusov.

He explains that such ships were also used during the operation on Zmiinyi Island. The occupiers do not have anything to replace them with today.

Yusov also adds that as a result of such attacks, the Russian Black Sea Fleet is gradually relocating to Novorossiysk and other ports in the Black Sea. This concerns not only ships but also auxiliary infrastructure.

"This process is ongoing. They cannot afford to completely leave Crimea; they are trying to find new loopholes and come up with defense mechanisms," added the intelligence officer.
