Massive Russian attacks on Ukraine
On Sunday evening, May 25, Russian forces launched another massive attack on Ukraine using Shahed kamikaze drones.
In the last two days, Russia has carried out the most massive missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian territory since the full-scale war began.
On the night of May 25, Russians attacked 13 regions. The enemy used dozens of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as about 300 drones. The attack killed 12 people, including three children. More than 60 people were injured. There was extensive damage and destruction to residential and industrial infrastructure.
On the night of May 24, Russian forces launched 250 strike drones and 14 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles at Ukraine. Fifteen people were injured in that strike. The main target was Kyiv.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not rule out repeated combined attacks by Russian forces on Ukraine.
European countries condemned the Russian attack and called for increased pressure on the Kremlin.
