During the night of September 23, explosions were reported in the Odesa region amidst an air raid alert, according to Dumska.

Explosions were heard around 00:46, citing monitoring groups, the publication reports that the region may have been targeted by anti-ship missiles like Onyx. Prior to this, the Air Force had warned of enemy missile movement in the direction of the region.

Oleh Kiper, the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, called on residents of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district to seek shelter until the alert is lifted.

"Do not deactivate the air defense systems!" he added.

The air raid alert in the region was canceled 12 minutes after the explosion.

Aerial attacks on Ukrainу

Russian forces have been regularly conducting large-scale aerial attacks on Ukrainian territory, with the most extensive bombardment occurring in the early hours of September 21. During this attack, the enemy targeted Kyiv, Kyiv region, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, and Lviv regions with missiles.

As a result of the attack, seven people were injured in Kyiv, and at least 11 were affected in Cherkasy.
