Explosions and panic as drones target Moscow and outskirts

Overnight on July 20, residents of Moscow and the Moscow region reported a drone attack. Explosions were heard in Zelenograd and the settlement of Goluboye. Official sources in Moscow claim that drone debris fell, but no casualties were reported, according to Russian media.
The latest drone strike in the capital and surrounding areas was recorded in the early hours of July 20. Residents of Zelenograd, Goluboye, and the Kaluga region reported hearing explosions and the distinct sound of drones flying overhead.
For instance, in Zelenograd’s 15th microdistrict, eyewitnesses said they heard loud blasts, and drones were flying just above the rooftops of apartment buildings. Windows were shattered in some homes. Residents of Goluboye also said that during the powerful bangs, the walls and windows of their houses shook.
The Mayor of Moscow stated that the Ministry of Defense’s air defense systems shot down thirteen enemy drones attacking the city. Emergency service specialists are working at the sites where drone debris has fallen.
Loud drone flight noises were also reported in the Kaluga region, where locals say air defense systems are active. Specialists are currently identifying the drone fragments.
Russian officials have so far not provided details about the targets or the extent of the damage.
