On the morning of August 26, explosions were heard in occupied Crimea. The railway station Urozhaina in the settlement of Chervonohvardiiske may have been hit, according to the Telegram channel Crimean Wind.

“Strike on the Urozhaina station in the settlement of Chervonohvardiiske,” the message reads.

According to the monitoring channel, preliminarily, there was a hit on a substation.

“The strike in the area of the Urozhaina station, apparently, was precise."

Footage from the scene has also been published. The photos show railway tracks with power lines and poles, above which thick black smoke is rising, indicating the scale of the explosions.

It is visible that the smoke is coming from the railway infrastructure, and the area itself is surrounded by high catenary poles.

Meanwhile, Russia’s Ministry of Defense stated that between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m., their air defense systems allegedly destroyed eight drones over Crimea.

Explosions in Crimea

On the night of August 21, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully struck rolling stock with fuel near Dzhankoi.

According to the military, the special operation disrupted the logistics of the Russians in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Last month, explosions rocked occupied Crimea amid a massive drone attack. After that, a photo appeared online of a strike drone that was allegedly flying toward the Belbek airfield.

Earlier, a series of powerful explosions was also heard in Crimea. Social media was flooded with reports of a drone attack and the active work of Russian air defense.
