The United States continues to deliver air defense missiles for Ukraine's Patriot systems and weapons packages funded by European partners under the PURL initiative, without delay, said NATO's top military commander General Alexus Grynkewich.
"Everything has been delivered; in fact, we just had the delivery within the last week. I won't go into the numbers or types of missiles, but deliveries have been ongoing," he noted.
Grynkewich emphasized that nothing had been delayed among the items "put in the PURL package and paid for by European allies."
"Every single third-party transfer that has been requested of the US government has been approved. We continue to work on the content for future PURL packages. We're working this hard," the NATO commander said.
As previously reported, Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara called on Ukraine's partners to consider transferring 10% of their interceptor stockpiles to Ukraine.
Specifically, this concerns missiles for Patriot and IRIS-T air defense systems, whose procurement Kyiv is financing with an EU loan.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine had been waiting for nearly a month for Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth to sign off on the delivery of missiles for Patriot and NASAMS air defense systems.
According to him, Kyiv plans to hold talks with Washington to resolve the issue.
