EU reacts to Zelenskyy's claim of sharp drop in missile supplies

According to Hipper, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, has already urged member states to provide Ukraine with more interceptor missiles.
"Last week, as you know, we have disbursed €3.47 billion to Ukraine under the defense window of the €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan. And yesterday €1.4 billion was also disbursed from the windfall profits and a part of it will be used for additional military assistance," she said.
The spokesperson was also responding to a recent statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
As previously reported, Zelenskyy said that deliveries of air defense missiles to Ukraine have fallen threefold in 2026, despite allies having sufficient stockpiles.
"Unfortunately, deliveries of anti-ballistic missiles from our partners have fallen significantly this year. The number of air defense missiles supplied has dropped threefold compared with 2025. And this is not only about the summer period — it applies to the entire first half of 2026. Our partners have these missiles," Zelenskyy said.
Recently, one of Zelenskyy's advisers also revealed how many ballistic missiles Russia is capable of launching against Ukraine each month.
It has also become known that Ukraine will destroy Russia's ballistic missile launch systems.
