Drones strike from five directions: Night attack hits Ukraine

On the night of March 21, Russia attacked Ukraine with 154 strike drones from five directions. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to shoot down the majority of the enemy drones, according to the Ukrainian Air Force Telegram.
According to the military, from 6:00 p.m. on March 20 to the morning of March 21, Russia launched 154 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas types, and other drones from the following directions: Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiyske (temporarily occupied Crimea). Around 90 of the launched drones were Shaheds.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, surface-to-air missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Preliminary data indicate that as of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or suppressed 148 enemy drones.
Strikes were recorded hitting five drones at four locations, while wreckage from downed drones fell at seven locations.
"The attack continues, with several enemy drones still in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" the Air Force warned.
Attacks across Ukraine
On the night of March 21, a Russian drone struck a private home in Zaporizhzhia — two people were killed, and two children were injured.
On the night of March 20, Russian forces attacked multiple regions of Ukraine with strike drones. Most enemy targets were neutralized by air defense forces.
At the same time, 19 strike drones were confirmed to have hit 13 locations, and wreckage from downed drones fell at seven locations.
In particular, Russian occupiers targeted a port in Odesa region. Two civilian commercial ships under the flags of Palau and Barbados were damaged while docked and loaded with grain. Administrative buildings were also damaged, and two people were injured.
