Russia strikes Ukraine with 156 drones overnight: Air defense's work reported

Russian forces attacked several regions of Ukraine overnight using strike drones. Most of the Russian targets were destroyed by air defense forces, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
"On the night of March 20, Russia launched an attack with 156 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as other types of drones, from 8 directions; approximately 90 of them were Shaheds," Ukrainian Air Force reports.
Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8 a.m., air defense forces had shot down or neutralized 133 Russian drones.
Additionally, 19 strike drones were recorded hitting 13 locations, and downed Russian targets were found at 7 locations.
"Russian attack is ongoing; there are several Russian drones in Ukrainian airspace. Follow safety guidelines," the Ukrainian Air Force adds.
Russian strikes on Ukraine
Russian troops attack Ukraine daily with various types of drones, as well as missile weapons.
On the night of March 19, the Russians launched a massive drone attack on Odesa. As a result of the Russian strikes, more than a dozen buildings and a dormitory at one of the city’s universities were damaged, and three people were injured.
Russians also attacked Lviv with drones late last night. The Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region came under Russian fire. Russia also struck Novovolynsk in the Volyn region.
