Drone strikes spark fires in Russian-occupied Crimea and Donetsk

On the night of July 1, Russian-occupied Crimea and Donetsk were attacked by drones. Fires were reported following the strikes, according to OSINT channels.
According to public channels, at around 11:50 p.m., the occupied part of the Donetsk region came under attack by unidentified drones. Later, preliminary reports indicated strikes near a parking area for logistics vehicles in Donetsk.

There were also reports overnight of the sound of explosions in Russian-occupied Crimea. By morning, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Fire Information for Resource Management System detected a fire north of Feodosia along the E-97 highway.
In addition, a fire was detected at the Zapadno-Krymskaya electrical substation and at a mobile gas turbine power plant.

Other developments
On June 28, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian forces had struck a railway bridge in Crimea that Russian forces had been using to supply troops. The strike targeted a bridge near the village of Ichok.
Earlier, on the night of June 25, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 38 targets in Crimea, including coastal radar stations, fuel and energy infrastructure facilities, and logistics hubs.
