Drone strike damages high-rises and 10 buildings in Zaporizhzhia

As a result of the overnight Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia, two apartment buildings, vehicles, and ten private business premises were damaged, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, and acting mayor Regina Kharchenko.
On the night of September 27, the enemy struck Zaporizhzhia with drones. The attack damaged two apartment buildings, vehicles, and non-residential premises. The blast wave shattered dozens of windows.
Municipal services are working on-site, addressing broken windows in apartments, assisting those affected, and inspecting the area to ensure the safety of residents.
Specialists are also documenting the full extent of the damage.
RBC-Ukraine reported that in the past 24 hours, Russia launched 115 strike drones at Ukraine, 70 of which were Shaheds. Ukrainian air defenses successfully destroyed or suppressed 97 enemy drones of various types across the north, south, east, and central regions of the country.
On the night of September 27, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones, striking a civilian infrastructure facility. Nearly 9,000 electricity subscribers in Zaporizhzhia were left without power, and an ATB store was destroyed.
Earlier, on September 22, Zaporizhzhia was hit by KAB-guided bombs. The attack set a two-story building and five vehicles on fire, and three people were killed.
