The Russian army carried out a drone attack last night on a civilian industrial facility in Balakliia, Kharkiv region, according to the head of the Military-Civil Administration, Vitalii Karabanov.

“As a result of another enemy attack using strike UAVs, several hits were recorded in the territory of the city of Balakliia,” Karabanov wrote.

According to him, a fire broke out at the site of the incident. Fortunately, there are no casualties.

“We urge citizens not to ignore air raid alerts and to follow the instructions of safety services,” he appealed to the residents of the city.

Attacks on Kharkiv and the region

On July 30, enemy drones were detected over Kharkiv. Later, rescuers clarified that two districts in Kharkiv were hit by the drone attacks — besides Shevchenkivskyi, the Slobidskyi district was also affected.

On July 29, Russian forces attacked the village of Novoplatonivka in the Izium district of Kharkiv region with artillery. Five civilians were killed near a store, and three others were injured.

On the night of July 26, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with cluster munitions, missiles, and drones. As a result of the strike, multi-story buildings, an industrial enterprise, roads, and the trolleybus network were damaged.
