On the night of July 30, two districts of Kharkiv, Shevchenkivskyi and Slobidskyi, came under drone attack. The strikes caused fires and injuries, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reports.

According to the rescuers, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, three vehicles, a car wash, and an extension to a building caught fire - the affected area totaled about 210 square meters.

Residential buildings, commercial sites, and vehicles were damaged. At least three people were injured, two of whom were rescued by emergency personnel.

In the Slobidskyi district, dry grass caught fire over an area of 500 square meters.

A total of 37 rescue workers and 7 units of equipment were involved at the scene. Emergency services worked through the night to eliminate the consequences of the strikes.

Shelling of Kharkiv

Starting at 1:30 a.m. Kyiv time today, enemy drones were spotted over Kharkiv. At 1:54 a.m., Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported an explosion in the city and later confirmed that the Shevchenkivskyi district had been hit.

On the night of July 26, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs, missiles, and drones. Due to the strike, multi-story buildings, an enterprise, roads, and the overhead line were damaged.

On July 25, the Russians struck a medical facility in Kharkiv’s Industrialnyi district with a guided aerial bomb. One person was killed and another 17 were injured in the attack.
