Car on fire in Kharkiv, supermarket and car wash damaged:Russian attack aftermath

Kharkiv came under attack by drones during the night of July 30. The strike caused damage to buildings and sparked a fire, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
Starting at 1:30 AM Kyiv time, Russian drones were detected over Kharkiv. At 1:54 AM Kyiv time, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported an explosion, later confirming a strike in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
He warned of possible follow-up attacks. At 2:19 AM Kyiv time, Kharkiv Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov confirmed that another drone had been spotted over the city.
Consequences of Russian attack on Kharkiv
Initially, Terekhov reported that a car caught fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district following the strike. Further updates revealed more damage.
"According to updated information, a car wash, windows of apartment buildings, and a supermarket were also damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district. A car is burning. No casualties have been reported so far. Details are being clarified," the mayor posted at 2:09 AM Kyiv time.
"Preliminary reports indicate three people were injured in the Shevchenkivskyi district, two women and one man," Terekhov added at 2:47 AM Kyiv time.
Governor Syniehubov clarified that one of the women is 24 years old and the man is 33.
Ongoing attacks on Kharkiv
Russian forces regularly strike Kharkiv with drones, missiles, and guided bombs.
For instance, on the night of July 20, the city was hit by a massive combined attack. In just three hours, over 20 strikes were launched, including ballistic missiles, drones, and guided aerial bombs.
That attack also targeted emergency responders, causing injuries. Residential buildings, a civilian enterprise, roads, and electrical infrastructure were damaged.
