Drone attack in Kharkiv region on civilian car leaves one dead, another wounded

The Russians struck a car with people in the Kharkiv region with a drone on the morning of June 29. A man died as a result of the enemy attack, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
According to him, around 08:30 AM Kyiv time, a drone strike on a civilian car moving along the road in the direction of the village of Prykolotne was recorded.
As a result of the enemy strike, a 60-year-old man died, and a 59-year-old man sustained an explosive injury.
"The injured man was taken to the hospital for qualified medical assistance," Syniehubov clarified.
Night strike on Ukraine
During the night of June 29, Russia carried out a combined strike on Ukraine, launching a record 537 targets across the country, including 477 drones and 60 missiles. Ukrainian air defense neutralized most of the targets.
In the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Khmelnytskyi regions, residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged. Smila, Kremenchuk, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv were also attacked. More on the consequences of the attack—in the RBC-Ukraine article.
During the repulsion of the massive attack, F-16 pilot Maksym Ustymenko was killed. He diverted the aircraft away from a populated area but did not have time to eject.
