Russian units attacked Dnipro with drones overnight on April 23. As a result of the enemy shelling, a strike on a high-rise building was recorded, as well as fires in various districts, according to the Telegram of the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.

"The enemy is attacking Dnipro. Fires have broken out in various districts of the city. Residential buildings have been damaged. The air alert continues. Stay in safe places until the all-clear," read a statement at 01:09 Kyiv time.

After a short time, Hanzha clarified that the Russians hit a multi-story building directly with a drone, causing several apartments to catch fire.

Before the attack, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned that several groups of enemy drones were heading toward Dnipro.

The head of the regional military administration reported that in addition to the high-rise building, a car and a store also caught fire in the city. Two people are reported injured.

The number of injured in Dnipro has increased to three.

"Two women, aged 62 and 68, have been hospitalized in moderate condition. A 35-year-old man will be treated on an outpatient basis," said the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.

Attacks on Dnipro

For context, on the night of April 16, the Russian units carried out another combined strike on Ukraine. As a result of the attack, office and administrative buildings, residential houses, an enterprise, and cars were damaged.

A little later, it became known that the Art Museum building was also damaged as a result of the enemy attack. Windows were blown out, and the facade was damaged.

On the night of April 10, the enemy also carried out an attack on Dnipro. At least eight multi-story buildings were damaged, and windows were blown out in the city.
