Death toll after Russian missile strike on Odesa on October 9 rises again
The number of victims in Odesa has risen following the Russian attack on October 9. There are currently 9 confirmed fatalities, according to Odesa's regional governor, Oleh Kiper.
"The death toll from the Russian missile strike on the port infrastructure has risen to nine people. This morning, a 48-year-old man died in the hospital," Kiper said.
According to the governor, over two days, Russian terrorists have killed 13 civilians in the Odesa region, most of whom were young people.
Russian attacks on Odesa
Russian forces have been regularly attacking Odesa and the surrounding region with missiles and drones, frequently targeting port infrastructure and ships.
On October 11, Russian forces fired ballistic missiles at the Odesa region. Four people were killed, and 10 were injured.
As for the October 9 attack, the Russian occupiers struck the Odesa region with ballistic missiles, once again targeting port infrastructure. A civilian container ship under the Panamanian flag was hit, resulting in six deaths and eight injuries. Later, on October 10, the death toll from this Russian attack rose to seven.
